Cultivation guideline

The Tomberry® is a very open plant with small leaves and thin stems. Although the plants appear generative, they require generative growing conditions. They benefit from being grafted onto a generative rootstock. We recommend a sowing temperature around 25 °C. Due to the high number of flowers per cluster, more bumblebees are needed compared to standard tomato cultivation. The trusses contain about 130-150 fruits. The trusses are harvested in their entirety when 90% of the truss is coloured. After about 4-5 days of drying, the ripe fruits can easily be shaken from the truss. To avoid quality problems, we do not recommend adding hand-picked fruits to it.

Please contact our specialists if you have any questions about the cultivation of the Tomberry® or to receive information to order seeds.
