De Tomberry® pearl tomato is the smallest tomato in the world. This tomato is a real eye-catcher because of its small size and is named after a berry. Bred by Eminent, the Tomberry has found its way into gastronomy for years because of its unique appearance. But not only gastronomes love the Tomberry. The Tomberry is also enthusiastically received by the consumer and especially children love this colourful and healthy tomato.

The Tomberry® is a very open plant with small leaves and thin stems. Although the plants appear generative, they require generative growing conditions. They benefit from being grafted onto a generative rootstock. We recommend a sowing temperature around 25 °C. Due to the high number of flowers per cluster, more bumblebees are needed compared to standard tomato cultivation. The trusses contain about 130-150 fruits. The trusses are harvested in their entirety when 90% of the truss is coloured. After about 4-5 days of drying, the ripe fruits can easily be shaken from the truss. To avoid quality problems, we do not recommend adding hand-picked fruits to it.
Please contact our specialists if you have any questions about the cultivation of the Tomberry® or to receive information to order seeds.
