We have a new Fresno in our product range. We have made big steps with the total production and growth habit of this hybrid. In fact, we see an increase in the number of kg per m2 of 25-30 percent! The plant produces upwards fruits and, as you would expect from the Fresno, the fruits are mild. Last but not least: the shelf life has also improved enormously.

The Fresno chillie looks and tastes almost like the popular Jalapeño, but it can be a little hotter. Fresno chillies are slightly spicier than Jalapeño peppers, but they also have a fruitier taste.

Fresno chillies change from green to red as they grow, increasing in heat.
The green chillies are milder than the red chillies.
